Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority Smith Field Supervisor
The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority is pleased to announce the hiring of Tim O’Donnell, C.M. as the Authority's first ever Smith Field Supervisor. His start date is August 30. Tim has over five years of airport operations experience including experience in managing general aviation airports. He holds a private pilots license, is a National Weather Service certified weather observer, has five years of air traffic control experience, and is a Certified Member of the Airport Association of Airport Executives.
During his airport career, Tim has worked at several airports including Detroit Metro, Wayne County Airport; John Wayne Airport, Orange County California; and Compton/Woodley and El Monte Airports in Los Angeles County, California. Tim also served as an air traffic controller during his service with the United States Marines and was trained as a civil engineer with the Michigan Air National Guard.
Tim obtained his Bachelor Science Degree in Aviation Management at Eastern Michigan University and has been taking MBA courses with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Los Angeles. Tim is a returning Hoosier originally from Columbus, Indiana. Tim is married and has one child.
